Harry Potter and the Socerer's Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

I haven't blogged in awhile but I promise it will get better. Anyway, I've had a really hard time reading A Game of Thrones so I took a break and decided to re-read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. My reasoning? I have too many books I want to start but wanted to wait until after my vacation and because who doesn't love Harry Potter?

So, to begin, I love everything Harry Potter. I always have. In fact, the reason I love reading is because of J.K Rowling and Harry Potter. Re-reading it always helps me to remember things I may have missed and I'm able to enjoy the story in a new light. Anyway, if you don't know- Harry Potter is about a young boy who finds out he's a wizard and a famous wizard at that. He lives with his Muggle (non-wizard) family until he becomes of age and gets invited to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The best part about the first book in the series is that you get invited into this world of magic, mischief and adventure. Sorcerer's Stone really depicts what the Wizardry World is while the books following will go deeper into the story of Harry and his friends.

Anyway, there isn't much to say because I think for the most part everyone has a really good idea what the story is about. Obviously since I'm re-reading it for what seems like the 100th time I would recommend it. I would really recommend it for a child who might not like reading. It was definitely my way of getting hooked on books.
